WEEK 1 |
FIRST MEETING.
| 5th April 2019
First day of meeting, we've met sem 2 and sem 6 students. On that day we were seperated into few groups, me and my friends were in this Fun Learning Group. We will need to figure out fun learning aid for the kids. This is a little hard for us cause we've leave kindergarten for so long and we have no idea what can we provide for them.
WEEK 2 & 3 |
MEET UP AND START WITH PROPOSAL.

As we're handling Art Subject, therefore we wish that we can come out with something creative and fun. In second week, the meet up happened smoothly today as everyone fully committed and gave out lots of advices and ideas in this meeting.Â
For third week, we decided to have online meeting. We had confirmed that our proposal will be play dough and art craft this is to helps the kids to develop their creativity while creating all the art crafts.
WEEK 4 |
PLANNING.

While creating this proposal, our group had met a new member. We discuss a lot and also came out with different type of fun learning aids. As we're all design students, we wanted to come out with something that's creative and in the mean time we also wanted the kids to enjoy while learning it. So we managed to come out three proposals. But unfortunately we got the idea wrongly, therefore we will need to redo the proposal. We will definitely put more effort on this project in order to helps the kids to learn and gain knowledge in a creative and fun way!

MEETING.
| 3rd May 2019
During week 5, we've a minor meeting with our lecturer in order to understand what we need to provide for the kids. A big thanks to our lecturer, Ms Jie Nasir, with her guidance we managed to have a clearer idea on how to continue with the task. After there meeting, me and science subject member had a discussion. Because we're arranged to be in the same wall to place our works. Therefore, our colour scheme have to be the same. Few hours later, we confirmed the colors we will be using, also we exchanged and suggested design idea for each other.
WEEK 6 & 7 |
CONFIRMING DESIGN.

On these two weeks, I've discussed a lot with my group members. We've been thinking on how our design able to make the library looks fun. We want our design are creative enough to inspire the kids and at the same time they can gain knowledge while playing. And finally, we got an idea! We designed a color matching learning kit, where there will be a different shaped with different colors. Kids will need to stick back the shape according to the color. Second design was a puzzle. There will be different shapes, and kids will need to fit the shapes into the space given. Third one will be build up game. Kids can show up their creativity by forming any kind of artworks, such as house, car or animals.

LASER CUT SESSION.

For week 8 and 9, after confirming our design, Ms helped us to book laser cutting session in advance and this help us a lot cause we saved a huge expenses. So we went to purchased material which is plywoods and mdf boards from the art and craft shop before laser cut. We faced a few difficulties and fortunately our others group members were there to help with the laser cutting. As we couldn't manage to finish laser cutting therefore we requested for another laser cut session on the 10th week to complete the whole design. After laser cut, we stay back at campus to finish up the colouring part. We bought few color of spray paints, colourful puzzle will attracts more attention from the kids.
WEEK 11 |
ON SITE EXECUTION
| 15th June 2019
Today was a tiring but fun day as we finally get to visit the site. Thanks to our leader, Joe for driving us all the way to Serendah to install all of our works. Also I would like to thanks all of the others group member that had helped me and my group members during the installation of our works. It was tiring but we manage to solved all the problems we faced. Thanks to all the people who work hard today and made the installation session happened smoothly.
